Images
Some default image styles are included that apply regardless of what type of image is being used.
"Pull" images
Pull images, assigned with class="pull-left" or class="pull-right," float themselves to the left or right of the content surrounding them, with a little bit of space, providing a nice wrapping effect.

Thumbnail images
Thumbnail images work well for images that link to further detail - bio pages, subpages within a section, etc. They can also be given pull attributes, but must be applied with class="thumbnail" on the link. Not all thumbnails need this class - slideshow thumbnails do not, for example.
